In our living environment and work, we are constantly faced with drawers - we find them in the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room, office furniture. It is good when the drawers open smoothly, quietly, and are noticeable only insofar as the items stored in them are important - it is a necessity of harmonious everyday life. Yet we have all heard drawers screaming, rumbling roughly, and annoying with other sounds. What makes us unable to enjoy the quiet and smooth use of drawers? We live in modern times, so any drawer can be opened smoothly and quietly - all that matters is that it has properly selected rails. Drawer rails are classified as furniture fittings and although not very noticeable to the average user's eye, they can often be heard louder than we would like.
The drawer can have ball bearing slides, undermount (concealed) slides, or roller slides.
