Properly chosen furniture lighting will create coziness when installing new furniture at home or renovating old ones. When illuminating a longer surface (table top or shelf), LED strips are perfect choice, which not only highlight the desired niches or individual details of the furniture, but also illuminate the furniture panel. Our range includes Lithuanian manufacturer AKTO LED strips and Italian manufacturer EMUCA LED strips.
AKTO LED strips stand out for their reliability, and EMUCA LED strips are especially easy to connect.
Along with the LED strip, switches for luminaires are installed. They turn on the lights at the right time - e.g. when capturing movement in an illuminated space or simply opening a furniture door.
The standard lighting kit consists of an LED strip, a switch and a power supply - a transformer.
The transformer is selected according to the voltage of the LED strip. If the selected LED strip is 24V, the selected transformer must also be 24V. The power and length of the LED strip must be taken into account when calculating the required transformer power. E.g. if your chosen lighting requires a 2 meter long LED strip with a power of 4.8W / m, then the required transformer must be (4.8 W / m x 2 = 10W) or more powerful.
To prevent the LED strip from overheating, a special LED profile should be used when installing the lighting in the furniture. Profiles for LED strips can be milled, surface or angled. You can now choose between metal, black or white profiles. LED strip profiles will not only protect the LED strip from overheating, but will also fit perfectly into furniture. Covers for profiles are used to cover the profiles, thanks to which the light of the LED strip is evenly distributed.
